Producers Pawan Kanoria and Dilip Som recently launched the logo of their upcoming film 'Curzoner Kolom' . The film is based on a story written by Padmanabha Dasgupta. After 'Punashcha' Director Souvik Mitra is expected to deliver some funny yet interesting message through the film. The movie will be released under the banners of AVA FILMS PRODUCION PVT LTD.
'Curzoner Kolom' is about an old zaminder family of North Kolkata, who are going to witness their family's last Durga Puja because they have fallen upon bad days. This Puja started 100 years back and Lord Curzon was invited as a chief guest after the announcement of Partition. But the ‘Swadeshis’ did not take his invitation in a good way and attacked the house. But the ancestors of the family helped Lord Curzon go back to Fort William. Curzon gifted a pen to Pachubroto Mittir who kept the pen in a secret place while dying. He just provided two riddles which would help his family to find the pen. This pen is the only solution if any trouble takes place in Mittir Family. People become tempted after knowing this and start solving the riddle. Pupu, the eldest Mittir of this generation comes into the context and tries solving the problem.
