Kolkata already has some regional entertainment magazines but this time Chief Editor-Publisher Syed Atif Shah has introduced an English magazine 'Life in Metro' to the Indian readers.

This magazine will keep the readers from all over India engaged with the updates of Tollywood, Bollywood and International film news, events etc. Pujarini Ghosh, Debarati Gupta, music director Dolon Mainaak from Kuheli along with Abhijit Guha and Sudeshna Roy were also present in the launch event. The magazine was launched at the Green Inn Banquet of Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Road.

“In the era of modernization Kolkata has been feeling a need of having an English entertainment magazine and 'Life in a metro' will feed the expectations of the reader who are keen to know about the Bengali Film Industry”, said Chief Editor – Publisher Syed Atif Shah.

Talking to the cover girl Subhashree Kar about her feeling she said, “ It feels great to be the centre of attraction where the media people and everyone give you so much attention, I want to be a successful actress using my calibre and not by sharing bed with producers”.
