Viacom 18’s Digital Venture VOOT announces the launch of a new show Aschorjo Packet, it is a comic chat show with 2 celebrities per episode and an anchor who wears a packet to cover her face. This is to establish a character unlike regular chat shows. One interesting character in the series is a bandage bhoot who wears bandages and with bandage all over his body including the face. Bandage Bhoot also gifts the celebrities a hamper when they compete in a fun game and both celebrities actually win a gift irrespective of the winner. The 5 episode series of Aschorjo packet features 10 celebrities, pai red with each other. Celebrities like Raj Chakraborty, Abir Chatterjee, Rudranil Gosh, Payal Sarkar, Sourav Das, Sayani Gosh, Paoli Dam, Mainak Bhaumik, Komolika and RJ Praveen were a part of the show.

Well known actor /director Raj Chakraborty (popular for his fan following amongst women) in a leak from the episode, claimed to be a Virgin. As per sources on the set, the anchor of the show couldn’t keep a straight face, even whilst covered by the packet and immediately likened Raj’s claim to that which Bollywood mega star Salman Khan had made on another show, further warning Raj that he stands a chance to be trolled. Raj, being the sport that he is laughed off this tall claim and the fun & games continued on the episode, that promises to be laughter riot for viewers.

In the upcoming episode, celebrities Raj Chakraborty and Abhir Chaterjee opened up about their experiences of getting an ‘Itch’ amidst a shoot, amidst a audition, amidst a chat with the Director and even on a first date – but propriety demands that you can’t scratch that itch. Sources reveal that Raj also created an advertisement starring Abhir Chaterjee, propagating the usage of anti-itch medicine which had everyone present on set rolling with laughter. Not one to hold back, Abhir retaliated back in jest by taking a dig on Raj’s next magnum opus staring Dev.

Rudranil, a renowned actor and comedian was recently seen with Payel Sarkar shooting for the episode of the show. A segment in this 15 minute entertainment capsule saw Rudranil lucidly describing farts and its multiple prototypes, leaving all in splits of laughter. A little birdie from the sets also tell us that the duo were heard discussing the behavior and tantrums of heroines when they shoot and other such gossip. Keeping with the jovial atmosphere on set, Rudranil and Payel were also seen playing a dumb charades as part of the show.

In the episode, Sourav Das and Sayoni Ghosh were seen ‘Calling The Shot’, literally. This segment of the chat show witnesses celebrities downing a shot whenever they give the wrong answer. Sourav and Sayoni – who gave quite a few wrong answers ended up having quite a few RUM shots and soon, got pretty high. Drink and tell was then the mantra they followed and by the end of the shoot, they had revealed fun facts and other such tidbits about each other.

Paoli Dam and Mainak Bhoumik, the much in love newlyweds were spotted shooting for the episode of the show, where they spoke about their ‘life after marriage’. The duo discussed topics ranging from how they manage family, to keeping their acting professional life separate, to what their personal life looks like and all the conventional family things they do. Other than their candid statements, they also played a game on the show in which they simply couldn’t help but cheat in so that they could stay ahead of each other.
