Big Bazaar Poush Parbon festival drew to an end on 31ts January, with the grand finale of Banjao  Kosh Masterchef at Big Bazaar Lake Mall. The Big Bazaar Lake Mall outlet was converted into a veritable Bengali kitchen where all the six semi-finalists made use of KOSH oats along with other staple ingredients to make the dishes tastier and healthier.

The big idea in the festival was to use oats, with its brand Kosh, along with other staple ingredients to make the 'pithe-puli' tastier and healthier than before. The Poush Parbon was celebrated in Bengal, Agartala and Silchar at all the Big Bazaar stores. The festival was launched by none other than Mir in accompaniment of Surma Dohar as they enthralled the gathering with their craft feasting from the wide spread of sweet delicacies.  

The contestants were judged on the basis of their innovative ideas during cooking the dishes using oats by judges Mir, Rukma Dakshy (Adviser, Bhojohori Manna) and Indranil Ghosh (Executive Chef, 6 Ballygunge Place). The three finalists were Ridhhima Kapoor (Winner), Priyanka Chakraborty (1st runner up) and Kavita Pandey (2nd runner up). They were given cash prizes of Rs 7000, Rs 5000 and Rs 3000 respectively, along with hampers from Kosh-Bigbazaar, and cook tops from Smithcucina. The prizes were given away by Mir and actor Sabyasachi Chakraborty.
