The cultural capital took a healthy run of joy when the third edition of Tata Steel Kolkata 25K, a unique distance running event promoted by Procam International, raised a whooping sum of 74.53 Lakhs towards charity. It was on the 18th of December,2016 when ten thousand proactive citizens of Kolkata took to bring about a change in the health column of the city. Since inception, the event has raised 1.89 Crore and this noble and selfless justifiably ranks it among the top public events the city has ever played host to. Along with Philanthropy Partner United Way Kolkata, the event remained a fundamental founding pillar for raising charity.

The funds raised from 24 NGOs will help many causes ranging from Girl Child and Women, Environment and Animal Welfare, Intellectually Challenged, Human Rights, Disability, Health, Community Development, Education, Social Services among others.Another aspect that added glitter to the charitywas Art for Sport. Over 37 noted artists from across the city, led by renowned painter Wasim Kapoor created magic on canvas at the start line. The auctioned paintings will further added to the charity drive at the Tata Steel Kolkata 25K.

The proud list of noble contributors is heart-warmingly massive.22 corporates donated INR 36.5 lakhs and the youngest fund raiser, 14 year-old Jainil Damani, raised INR 1,15,100 in support of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care.
